The Whittier Institute for Diabetes Resource Center

The Whittier Institute for Diabetes and Bristol-Myers Squibb partnered in creating the Whittier Diabetes Resource Center. This state-of-the-art venue is designed to provide a local, regional and international focus on innovative solutions to diabetic treatment and care.

The only diabetes resource center in San Diego County, the facility is designed to serve as an information center on diabetes prevention and disease management. Additionally, the center hosts educational forums and activities for professionals, patients and advocates in an innovative learning environment. Located on the 2nd floor of The Whittier Institute for Diabetes, the resource center also includes a teaching kitchen.

The facility is virtually “without walls” in that programs will be conducted online, enabling people outside the San Diego area to get diabetes information. To use the resource center call 1-877-WHITTIER.
